My girlfriend and I have a little puppy that is now featured on the homepage of Allegro Medical for all to see. He is the beagle mix named Tanner in the center of the banner on the right side. We did a sort of ‘dog appreciation’ act at work just because we wanted to show how much we love these little guys. I wrote a little page on it in squidoo as well at The Dog Family at Allegro.
It’s a cool thing where we’re letting everyone know how much we love these guys and kind of brag about how we get to bring them to work with us. It’s fun stuff, definitely makes the workday a bit more enjoyable.

Here is a really cool item that Allegro started selling. This product has actually been on the site for awhile but the ‘coming soon’ tag has finally been removed because the big boys at BodyRev gave us the ‘ok’ to begin selling them. The item is the Perfect Pushup Travel Edition. The Travel Edition employs the same principles associated with the original Perfect Pushup Handles but they come in a collapsible model so they can travel with you.
Perfect Pushup Travel uses the latest advances in biomechanics and engineering to give you better results faster. Each handle snaps securely into a non-slip base and stows in a zippered neoprene case that’s compact and easy to stash in your briefcase, backpack, or office drawer.
These things are great because it gives you a great workout without putting much strain on the shoulders, elbows, and wrists. It’s definitely a joint-saver. I have the original perfect pushup handles and those things are great. I can’t wait to try out the Travel Edition.

Free 8GB iPod Nano, Really???
Yes really, this is a pretty cool thing my company is doing. We’re having a sweepstakes event where anyone can just submit their name, e-mail, and physical address into a bin for a drawing and they will become eligible to win the iPod as well as other great prizes. Names can be submitted until Monday November 26th, 2007 11:59 PM Mountain Standard Time and drawings for the prizes will be held on Tuesday November 27th, 2007. My company is also offering Free Shipping on most orders $99 and over until the 26th of November as well so if you need medical supplies, now is the time to buy. It’s just something cool that we wanted to do for the upcoming Holidays to show our appreciation to our customers.
The sweepstakes deal is featured in today’s E-Catalog from Allegro Medical. So anyway, if you’re interested in the prizes and the rules are for the drawing, just enter your info on the iPod Sweepstakes page on the AllegroMedical.com site.

Needless to say from my previous post, I’m sure you can tell I didn’t do too hot on the GMAT. A re-take won’t be so bad. I’m sure I can pin-point the problem. Not to make excuses or anything, but I just didn’t set enough study time aside for myself amidst working and family stuff. I also had that break in San Jose and that plane ticket was bought before the GMAT was scheduled, a result of poor planning on my part.
Now, there is nothing I can do about it now but look straight ahead and use this as a learning experience. I’m definitely going to tear it up next time around. But for now, I’ve gotta get some work done at Allegro and enjoy the Holiday festivities with friends and family.

A programmer at Allegro Medical has just launched a pretty cool application called ‘Shop by Body Part’ which is a search page allowing users to search for items according to the area on their bodies that is giving them trouble. For example, if your left elbow is hurting, just mouse over the left arm and click on the left elbow link to see splints and straps of all types and sizes. I think it’s pretty cool. It’s also in the form of a snowman for the holiday season. Check out the Shop by Body Part page application at the Shop with Snowman page. I’m pretty sure this will change to a human later in the future but for now, it’s a good touch for the holidays.

So I’m taking a much needed break in San Jose with some good friends from the area and another from Boise. We went out to dinner and relaxed for a bit while exchanging some good laughs. It’s a good break from work as we prepare for the holiday rush.
We went into San Francisco today and attended the green festival. I had never heard of it before but it was pretty cool. A ton of Eco-freindly clothing makers, massage therapists, vegan snack/restaurant joints, and even MBA programs crammed into a building for people to visit and learn about. I snagged some Lara Bars and talked to someone about an eco-freindly MBA program from a local college. That was a big suprise, not really interested in the program, just the thought of a green MBA. It was kind of cool.
Speaking of MBA, I need to get back to studying. We’re back at the place and getting ready for dinner. In the meantime, I need to give myself a chance to further my education.

So this is pretty cool. My company just announced an offer with Google Checkout. If any customers check out using Google Checkout on the Allegro Medical site, they get $5 off of any order of $50 or more.
I never really understood what all of the hype was with Google Checkout but it’s pretty cool. It’s a super-safe and secure check out process and if a customer has a Google account, they can just use that to process the Google Checkout order. What’s more is that users only have to put their billing and shipping info in there once for sites across the web that use Google Checkout.

I dig the wordpress thing so far
I’m new to this wordpress blogging thing, but from what I’ve seen, I love it so far. It seems pretty easy and the blogs look very clean compared to others that I’ve seen on the web. Anyway, this is my life, my thoughts, my interest, and my venting area. I’m just a simple kid who values God, enjoys practicing Shaolin Kung Fu and jams on the six-string if time permits.
Stay tuned for an update shortly!
