I Love The Holidays

December 26, 2007

This just may have been the best Christmas ever! I got to go home and see all of my friends and family and although I didn’t want anything in terms of gifts, I ended up getting the LG Venus cell phone from my girlfriend and my brother and his girlfriend got me a much needed luggage bag as well as an awesome ASU sweater. Ah it’s been great, but the best part of it all was seeing the parential units smiling. I love my mama and popsky.

Goin’ home for the Holidays

December 21, 2007

Ooohhhhh I can’t wait to get home.  Traffic is going to be rough, but it will all be worth it in the end.  My homies from St. Paul, Denver, and a large number from Flagstaff and Phoenix are going back to good ole’ small town Page Arizona. It’s great, there’s only four stoplights in the whole town but it’ll be good to go back and visit nonetheless. I can’t wait to see the friends and the parential unit. Thank the Lord for Christmas time and the Holiday season.

The Holiday Hoopla

December 18, 2007

Whew, finally finished the Holiday Shopping! It’s been crazy and for some reason (I probably say this every year) this year seemed more crowded than the last. Anyway, it’s over and now I can finally sit back and relax while my girlfriend and I enjoy the festivities the season has to offer. We went to Zoo Lights last night at the Phoenix Zoo and we sat around and watched Eight Crazy Nights with Adam Sandler earlier tonight. I haven’t seen it before and I thought it was an ok movie. But anyway, I’m off to get ready for bed and early to rise for work.

Yahoo/PayPal vs. Google

December 12, 2007

Looks like Yahoo is teaming up with PayPal to get into the checkout game with Google. Google Checkout has just recently stepped on the scene and has since been dominating stealing some of the profits from the PayPal powerhouse. PayPal has just decided to step up it’s game and team up with Yahoo on the matter. They have a Yahoo! PayPal Checkout Program which is offering free credit card processing until May 2008 for current Yahoo Pay-Per-Click Advertisers. I’m trying to talk the guys over at Allegro Medical into getting into the game. It just gives customers another checkout process that they know and love. The more options they have, the more likely they will be to buy as soon as they see something that catches their eye.

GMATs, here we go again

December 6, 2007

Well, it’s official, round two of the GMAT is underway. My girlfriend and I have signed up for a test prep course at Arizona State University so we’ll see how things pan out. Meanwhile, I’m going to try and enjoy these Holidays.
