Here’s a little background info on me, Douglas Kwong
After coming to Arizona State University from a small town up north called Page Arizona, the culture-shock had definitely set in. I went from knowing everyone in Page with a population of just over 8k to attending as school where the student population alone was six times the size of my hometown. I had a lot of growing up to do.
I had a tough time getting to meet new people with a shy personality and the shift in everyday living. To remedy the situation, I decided to get my minor in communications while pursuing my Business degree. If there was anything that was going to break me out of my shell, it was my need for a passing grade.
Needless to say, after some crazy times of meeting people, nurturing and developing myself as a professional and receiving my B.S. degree in Business Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, it was off to the real word for me.
I have decided to take on an entrepreneurial adventure with my business partner. Together we launched the Diabetic Shoes HuB in June of 2008. This is a great opportunity for me to apply my knowledge that I have gained thus far in my career as well as in my academics to continue to grow as a professional. So far things are great. Sales are stronger than projected and things we do from now on can only help.
